Facility Grid is an enterprise Operational Readiness B2B platform engineered to centralize, digitize, and track complex quality control and commissioning processes for mission-critical infrastructure — validating thousands of building assets such as mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems throughout the construction lifecycle.
My mandate was to overhaul a heavily technical legacy ecosystem into a high-performance web and mobile workspace, transforming massive data matrices, intricate milestone schedules, and field-testing validation logic into an interface built for absolute precision.

Engineering teams routinely manage thousands of interconnected building assets across contractors, trades, and schedules — creating fragmented tracking, manual entry errors, and cognitive fatigue. The platform needed to display dense multi-dimensional asset layers and project health simultaneously, so engineers kept full situational awareness before on-site commissioning began.
Coordinating testing and verification between desktop-bound project managers and on-site field technicians suffered from a severe disconnect — legacy interfaces forced long, rigid text forms and manual spreadsheets. The system lacked a responsive visual workflow letting field technicians execute tests and sync live progress without administrative friction.
What I Built
Tracking overall project readiness across endless rows of numbers frequently led to overlooked risks, so I reimagined the platform's landing experience as a centralized, high-density visualization command center — pairing interactive health indicators, milestone tracking meters, and real-time risk distribution charts.
Why This Way
Turning raw operational numbers into scannable visual indicators lets building owners and general contractors instantly pinpoint bottlenecks or delays at a glance.
What I Built
Coordinating multi-phase commissioning tasks and overlapping dependencies through text-heavy forms inevitably caused scheduling conflicts, so I redesigned the scheduling framework as an interactive Gantt timeline with drag-and-drop adjustments, dependency mapping, and real-time status badges.
Why This Way
Spatial timeline mapping gives immediate visual understanding of sequence logic, safeguarding engineering teams against conflicts and keeping complex commissioning always on time.
What I Built
Field and office engineers routinely handle high-volume data tables, and cluttered tables slow validation. I engineered a customized grid system with customizable column filtering, inline quick editing, and prominent, color-coded validation badges.
Why This Way
Stripping visual clutter while keeping high data density lets engineers scan and verify thousands of technical assets rapidly, accelerating the formal verification trail needed for owner handover.
What I Built
Navigating platform rules and training protocols across fragmented PDF manuals disrupted the workflow, so I designed a centralized Knowledge Base module with a multi-level sidebar, categorized resource cards, integrated search, and a step-by-step article viewer.
Why This Way
Organizing instructional content into a clear, unified layout lets field engineers and trade contractors quickly look up testing protocols, reducing onboarding bottlenecks and ensuring uniform compliance.
Shifting from manual spreadsheets and form-heavy entry to optimized data grids and unified workspaces streamlined validation workflows by an estimated 25%+.
The interactive Gantt timeline and clear status architecture reduced accidental timeline overlaps and overlooked dependencies on high-stakes, mission-critical builds.
The scannable visual design system let owners, general contractors, and trade technicians parse live project health without specialized training.
